Welcome! I’m Margy Smariga, CYT, E-RYT 500, founder of Frederick Therapeutic Yoga. I am a yoga therapist and experienced yoga teacher trained in the Viniyoga tradition. My passion is empowering individuals of all ages and abilities to use the time-honored strategies of yoga for health and healing. I specialize in adapting the practices of yoga to the unique conditions, needs, and interests of each individual. Serving clients in Frederick, Maryland, and nearby communities, I offer private yoga therapy sessions, group yoga classes, and therapeutic workshops. I work with individuals with a wide range of symptoms and conditions (such as chronic pain, structural imbalances, cancer, respiratory problems, hypertension, autoimmune disorders, and chronic stress) who want to improve their physical and mental well-being through yoga. My clients and students tell me that, as a result of our time together, they experience greater ease and vitality in their body, a more peaceful mind, and a fuller, more joyful life.
Yoga can help relieve aches and pains, improve posture, manage symptoms of chronic disease, reduce stress, and improve mental health and well-being. Private yoga therapy sessions are tailored to help you use the tools of yoga to address your individual health needs. Contact Margy to learn how yoga can help you on your wellness journey!
